Actress Genelia D’Souza got married with her long time boy friend Riteish Deshmukh today in traditional Marathi style at Grand Hyatt hotel in Mumbai. The wedding took place in a typical Maharashtrian style at a five-star hotel in suburban Santacruz from 12 pm onwards.
Bollywood celebritites like Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and wife Kajol among with the politicians Sharad Pawar, Prithviraj Chavan, Praful Patel and many others graced the wedding ceremony.
Genelia wore a bright red saree with gold kundan border designed by Neeta Lulla for the wedding.Riteish wore a white sherwani and red turban, entered the hotel on a ’ghodi’. The ’baaraat’ started from the grounds near Grand Hyatt and reached the hotel. The actor’s politician father Vilasrao Deshmukh was dressed in a brown sherwani.
