nayanatara is now a Hindu

Actress Nayanatara has got converted into Hinduism recently. She is a Kerala born Christian and her real name is Diana Mariam Kurian and she has changed as Nayanatara for movies purpose. Now the latest news is that she has converted into Hinduism, she is ready to marry her lover Prabhu Deva. The ceremony of converting happened on Sunday, 7th August at Arya Sajam Temple in Chennai after which she was given a formal certification which claims she is now a Hindu. After converting to Hinduism, her name will continued to be Nayantara like earlier.

When asked, if she has converted to Hinduism because Prabhu has insisted to do so, she denied it and confirmed that it was her own wish to do so and Prabhu did not insisted her for it. “It’s my own decision. I went through the entire ceremony with passion and assurance" is what she has told to the media.

It is also believed that she will quit acting after getting married. Sri Ramarajyam is her last movie. Earlier she has cried and went emotional on the last day of shooting of Sri Ramarajyam and expressed to the team that it’s her last movie and Prabhu will not allow her to act after marriage.

So, soon Prabhu Deva and Nayanatara will marry according to Hindu Tradition.
