Most awaited "Dhoom 3" is postponed to release in 2013

Yash Raj Films’ most awaited "Dhoom 3" which was all planned to release on 2012 winter is now postponed to 2013 keeping in view the various production and post-production considerations.

The whole production house in consultation with Aamir Khan have decided to release the movie in 2013 and not this year as planned earlier. The reschedule in the release date is because the shooting will begin this November, will require 10 to 11 months to complete shooting with concurrent post-production preparations and might stretch beyond that.
In context to this, Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor) said, “

‘Dhoom 3′ is very dear to all of us as well as to its audience who expect only the best from the franchise. While the shooting will finish in time, we expect the post-production to take much longer. We are trying our best to give one of the finest cinematic experiences to our discerning audience and therefore did not want to compromise the quality of the film just to meet the release date.”

The film will feature Aamir Khan playing a lead role with negative character while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles and Katrina Kaif in the place of Aishwarya Rai in its previous version. And surprisingly, Katrina is going to lend her own voice for a song in this film.

An another good thing is that ‘Dhoom 3′ release will not clash with ‘Dabangg 2’ release which was also scheduled to be relased on 2012 winter.
