‘Mausam’ movie release delayed to 23rd September

he release of the movie ‘Mausam’ has been delayed to 23rd September 2011. Earlier, the movie was supposed to be globally released on 16th September on Friday. The release has been delayed in order to avoid fragmented release.
Shahid Kapoor had announced the delay of the movie, in which he will be seen playing the lead role opposite Sonam Kapoor. While talking about the reason, the actor said that they had applied for an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Indian Air Force as well as the Censor Board of India.

Shahid added that the censor board has given the film a ‘U’ certificate, while the IAF has given a conditional certificate in which they had demanded to cut a 30 second scene from the movie. The ‘Jab We Met’ actor said that they needed to change a small detail.
As the scene had required some computer graphics, it needed some time and this is the reason it took so many days to make the corrections. The NOC was then received last Tuesday night by the makers.
