Tamil actor Ajith’s 50th Tamil film "Mankatha" was released recently in Tamilnadu and the movie got good response from the audience and the collections are also good. Now the dubbed version of the film is releasing in Telugu as "Gambler “on September 9th. Telugu version movie rights were bought by the producer Bellamkonda Suresh. Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is on success spree now with the success of Kandireega and Kanchana films, so he brought this film also.
’Mankatha was directed by Venkat Prabhu. Producers Dhayanidhi Alagiri and Vivek Rathnavel produced in Tamil. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja composed tunes for ’Mankatha’ film. The film music is also rocking in Tamilnadu.
Actress Trisha played the female lead role in the film. The story of the film revolves around a Mafia gang gambling during the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season.
In this flick hero Arjun, Sneha, Vaibhav Reddy and Lakshmi Rai are played other key roles.
